Turnkey Investment Properties in Edmonton, AB seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to walk construction sites and ensure work meets our standards. You will inspect at each build stage using checklists and document findings with photos and notes.
You will build deficiency lists, track fixes, and ensure readiness for municipal and third-party inspections, with daily communication between site trades and the office.
If you're looking for a job where noticing what everyone else walks past is the entire point, keep reading.
Turnkey Investment Properties develops, builds, and manages multifamily rental properties across the Edmonton area. We handle every step in house, from finding the site and pulling permits through design, construction, and long-term property management. Our building arm, Glenora Homes, has been working in and around Edmonton for 18 years and has delivered hundreds of properties from start to finish. We build our clients' properties to the same specifications we use for our own, so quality is not a box we tick at the end. It is the product.
As our team continues to grow, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to walk our sites and hold the work to the standard we promise our investors and our tenants.
We will teach you the technical side. Plans, build stages, what to look for at each inspection point, all of that is trainable and we train it. What we are hiring for is the eye. If you are the person who spots the crooked line, the missing piece, the thing that is almost right but not quite, you will do well here.
You will not be rubber stamping anything. You will have the authority to flag work that isn't right, direct access to the site team and to ownership, and real ownership of what gets signed off. We have buildings going up on a steady cadence, so you will see the same stages over and over and get very good at them fast. Within a year you will know more about how a building actually goes together than most people who have been around it for five.
Any background where you inspected, audited, or checked work against a standard is an asset, whatever industry it was in.
