We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

The QA Engineer plays a vital role in our product development process. The ideal candidate will conduct tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and remains cost-effective. Responsibilities
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Investigate causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in test automation using Cypress or Appium.
  • Demonstrated experience in software quality assurance.
  • Extensive understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and detailed test plans and cases.
  • Practical experience with both white box and black box testing techniques.
  • Experience with automated testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and scripting languages.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in API performance and/or security testing is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
