Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are seeking a talented Senior Advance Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team as a permanent position. We are looking for an experienced quality professional with a strong manufacturing background, structured problem-solving and detail oriented. Ideally, this individual has previous experience with pumping, hydraulic, electromechanical or related products. This role will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Set quality objectives for NPI projects and seeks its execution at all stages of the NPI cycle.
• Utilize the tools DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Validation
• Leads product and process launches quality activities with process capability and statistical relevancy, while adhering to validation protocols.
• Conducts data collection, data analysis, trending, and reporting.
• Use of statistical analysis and reliability software
• Maintain documentation needed for quality planning and ensure that work instructions, production, and control plans meet customer requirements and production goals. In addition, they supervise and coordinate Lean Six Sigma Quality workshops
• Leads thorough investigations with effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
• Support key processes as subject matter expert.
• Working with multiple functions and sites to deploy continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives using the application of Informed Decision Making, Quality and Quality by Design principles.
  
  

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer/Quality Assurance
• Hand's on or design experience with electro-mechanical systems.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience deploying APQP, (PPAP, Process Flow Diagrams PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
• Demonstrated experience in new product and process validations.
• Internal Auditor ISO 9001 Certified.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) training.
