Job summary

Natural Factors in Kelowna, BC is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Quality Assurance Department. The role focuses on ensuring product and packaging quality meets the highest standards while adhering to cGMP guidelines.

You will inspect products, labels, and packaging, complete daily cGMP inspections, and assist the QA Manager with non-conformance investigations. This position requires a science-based background and the ability to work a rotating shift in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Science Degree or relevant Technical Diploma preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical or natural health product manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of cGMPs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and demonstrated success learning new software programs
  • Physically able to perform job duties including some heavy lifting, occasionally up to 10kg

Responsibilities

  • Inspect our products, labels, and packaging to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Complete daily cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) inspections and reports
  • Provide assistance to the Quality Assurance Manager with the investigation of Non-Conformance Reports and Complaints
  • Ensure staff follow cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as other work procedures and company policies
  • Work a two-week alternating shift of Wednesday – Saturday/Thursday - Saturday 6:00 PM - 6:10 AM
