Job summary

Natural Factors is seeking a Quality Inspector at our Kelowna facility to ensure that products and packaging meet the highest quality standards. The role involves performing daily cGMP inspections, compiling reports, and assisting the QA Manager with investigations into non-conformances and complaints.

The successful candidate will have a Science Degree or Technical Diploma, 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience, knowledge of cGMPs, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher science/technical diploma required or preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or natural health product manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products, labels, and packaging to ensure quality standards.
• Complete daily cGMP inspections and reports.
• Assist QA Manager with investigation of non-conformance reports and complaints.
• Ensure staff follow cGMP, SOPs, and company policies.
• Work two-week alternating shift: Wed–Sat or Thu–Sat, 6:00 PM–6:10 AM.

In this role you will:

• Inspect our products, labels, and packaging to ensure they meet our quality standards
• Complete daily cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) inspections and reports
• Provide assistance to the Quality Assurance Manager with the investigation of Non-Conformance Reports and Complaints
• Ensure staff follow cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as other work procedures and company policies
• Work a two-week alternating shift of Wednesday – Saturday/Thursday - Saturday 6:00 PM - 6:10 AM

You have:

• Science Degree or relevant Technical Diploma preferred
• 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical or natural health product manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of cGMPs
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite and demonstrated success learning new software programs
• Physically able to perform job duties including some heavy lifting, occasionally up to 10kg
