Job summary

Best Buy Canada in Vancouver is seeking an intermediate QA Analyst to join an agile team, designing and documenting test scenarios, scripting automated tests, and validating features from design to deployment.

You will collaborate across onshore/offshore groups, ensure test coverage, triage bugs, and help maintain QA standards in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience planning, designing, developing, and testing software.
• 2+ years of experience creating automation in Java or another similar language.
• 2+ years of experience with Selenium, Java, or any relevant scripting language.
• Experience with automation testing across Webapps, API’s, Micro Services, and Backend systems.
• Knowledge of data structures and data manipulation.
• Solid understanding of how to apply QA methodologies and processes.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.

• Analyzing and identifying gaps in test coverage, and designing test cases and test scenarios.
• Being the quality champion by ensuring the team is following the proper acceptance criteria, leveraging the right test cases, and adhering to QA standards.

• Keeping stakeholders up to date on the status and results of testing.
• Documenting, triaging, investigating, and re‑testing bugs and failures.

We are growing our QA Analyst community and are on the lookout for incredible talent for intermediate positions in 12‑month fixed term capacities. As a QA Analyst, you will be collaborating with an agile team and designing and documenting test scenarios, identifying target test items, scripting automated tests, and testing new features from the design stage all the way through to deployment.

Compensation

Annualized Compensation Range $66,000.00 - $75,000.00 Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
