Best Buy Canada is seeking a Digital Retail Specialist to help shape the customer journey on BestBuy.ca and influence in-store experiences. The role is based in the greater Vancouver area with a remote-first model that leverages in-person collaboration for strategic work.

You will lead daily operations, launch campaigns, and optimize web, marketing, and merchandising touchpoints to drive performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, retail, or data analytics.
• Strong understanding of KPIs like traffic, conversion, AOV, and margin.
• Proficiency with analytics/tools and CMS platforms.

Digital Retail Specialist (18-month contract)

Are you excited by the intersection of digital retail, data, and technology? As a digital retail specialist, you’ll help shape the customer journey on BestBuy.ca and influence how it comes to life in stores and marketing channels. From launching the latest tech to optimizing campaigns and promotions, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, high-impact experiences. In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

• Lead day-to-day team operations, set priorities, move work forward proactively, and support and mentor team members, using AI and other digital tools to help the team deliver at its best.
• Launch products, campaigns, and promotions across BestBuy.ca and other channels.
• Translate strategy into execution across web, marketing, and in-store touchpoints.
• Monitor business performance and customer behavior to uncover optimization opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to improve discoverability and conversion through SEO, content placement, and merchandising tactics.
• Use data to tell a story - sharing insights that influence business decisions beyond your immediate scope.
• Monitor competitive and industry trends and share clear, action-oriented recommendations with partners and leadership.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, retail or data analytics.
• Strong understanding of KPIs like traffic, conversion, AOV, and margin— and how to drive them.
• Proficiency with tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Excel, and web content management platforms.
• Sharp analytical instincts and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
• Collaborate design and prioritize solutions that improve product visibility, discoverability, and conversion, guiding the team’s execution across content, SEO, product placement, and digital merchandising.
• Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to align teams around the why.
• A curious, growth-oriented, leadership mindset and a drive to continuously improve.
• A college or university degree in Business or related field.
