What You’ll Be Contributing:

  • Develop and maintain purchasing plans aligned with project timelines, budgets, and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the best delivery terms.
  • Track purchase orders to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for construction projects.
  • Track and coordinate all shipments of material and equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Project Management, Purchasing, Operations and Logistics, to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify alternative sourcing solutions when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations related to purchasing.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement best practices to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What Sets You Apart:

  • College diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain planning, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supply chain logistics is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
