The Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Strategic Planner to play a key role in shaping brand strategies and driving new business initiatives. As a Strategic Planner, you'll work closely with account leads, providing strategic guidance, conducting market research, and developing compelling presentations.
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Planning: Respond to strategic briefs, support annual planning, and develop tactical/creative/strategic briefs.
- Market Research: Lead market research projects, analyze data, and identify key insights.
- Client Management: Prepare for and facilitate client workshops, present agency POVs, and address client questions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the day-to-day point of contact for internal brand teams, fostering a positive team dynamic.
- New Business Development: Support new business pitches and contribute to agency growth.
- AI Utilization: Use AI platforms as an accelerant for brands' needs and strategic deliverables.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in brand strategy or market research preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/health industry preferred.
- Strong foundational understanding of strategic planning principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Working knowledge of research tools (search databases including & customer engagement platforms) such as SERMO, Datamonitor.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems for omnichannel planning and social media platforms.
Bonus Points:
- A background in media strategy and/or channel planning is an asset.
- Experience with AI platforms.
