Responsibilities

• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services.
• Assess requirements to develop specifications for equipment and supplies.
• Develop specifications for equipment and supplies to be purchased.
• Negotiate offers from suppliers and consult with them.
• Hire, train and supervise staff; supervise 1–2 people if applicable.
• Review quotations and determine contract terms and delivery schedules.
• Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems and plan logistics.
• Provide customer service and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
