Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H Milling) is seeking a Shift Supervisor for pulse flour production in Vanscoy, SK. You will lead and develop a team of mill operators, ensure safe, efficient 24/7 operations, and manage production changes while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires supervisory experience, knowledge of flour milling, and the ability to work shift work, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health coverage and ongoing development opportunities at P&H Milling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in a food production facility or agricultural processing facility.
• Experience with high pressure steam boiler operation.
• Fireman’s Operator Ticket or higher or willingness to obtain.
• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg; willing to work shiftwork, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in environments with dust, higher temperatures, and all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise milling operations, ensuring optimal equipment performance, quality, and production efficiency.
• Execute production schedules, product changeovers, and flour production processes to meet requirements.
• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs.
• Support and direct team members; ensure sanitation and task completion.
• Complete inspections, reports, and documentation on time.
• Maintain GMP, HACCP, BRCGS, food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Report safety and quality concerns as required.
