Job summary

Solenis LLC is seeking a Chemical Support Engineer for Ontario, based in Mississauga, on-site. You will deliver technically sound, cost-efficient chemical treatment programs for pulp and paper customers, work with Sales, and ensure compliance and safety across sites.

Ideal candidates have a science/engineering degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius in Ontario. Occasional on-call weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or technical discipline is required.
• 10+ years of manufacturing or equipment experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service visits and testing of treatment programs.
• Provide technical support to customers and sales team.
• Maintain service records and prepare weekly reports.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose corrective actions.
• Support proposals and customer-facing documentation; identify growth opportunities.
