Job summary

Oak Valley Health is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join the Pulmonary Function Laboratory. The role involves coaching and performing pulmonary function tests, maintaining calibration of equipment, and ensuring high-quality results in a fast-paced hospital environment.

We require registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists and the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists, plus a recognized respiratory therapy program and at least 2 years of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized respiratory therapy program required.
• Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists and the CSRT.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate hospital experience.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• BodyBox experience is required.
• Experience in pediatric testing and pulmonary function is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coach and facilitate pulmonary function testing and lab testing activities.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and ensure high-quality results.
• Perform day, evening and night shifts as required; adapt to operational needs.
