Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam.
• Eligible for membership with CSRT and BCSRT.
• One year's recent related experience in a level three pulmonary function lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function procedures including spirometry and arterial blood gas punctures.
• Conduct cardiopulmonary exercise studies.
• Assist in monitoring equipment and conduct quality control checks.
• Provide clinical instruction to students as needed.
• Develop quality assurance programs for the department.
