Job summary

The Town of Norquay is seeking candidates for a full-time/part-time municipal maintenance role with year-round duties and additional responsibilities at Communiplex during winter. The position covers road work, equipment operation, grounds maintenance, and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and operation of municipal infrastructure and equipment.
• Experience with road maintenance and construction activities.
• Ability to perform winter maintenance including snow removal and ice control.
• Experience with water and wastewater system operations is desirable.
• On-call rotation and emergency response awareness.

Responsibilities

• Road maintenance and repair.
• Operation and maintenance of municipal equipment and tools.

• Maintenance of streets, sidewalks, parks, and other municipal properties.
• Assisting with water and wastewater system operations.

Residency Requirements

• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Preference will be given to candidates who reside within, or are willing to relocate within, a one-hour driving distance of the Town of Norquay to accommodate operational and on-call requirements.
