Job description

Position Overview: The City of Trail is seeking a people and customer service oriented individual to fill a contract Skate Patrol / Attendant position with the Parks and Recreation Department for the public skating sessions at the Trail Memorial Centre. This contract position requires the candidate to have flexibility in their personal schedules and the ability to work evenings and weekends. This contract position offers a minimum of three shifts per week at 1 1/2 - 2 hours per shift. The best candidate will be scheduled to start in October 2026 and will end April 2027.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional public service and ability to work well with the public.
  • Cash handling experience and the understanding of accountability with financial transactions.
  • Desire to participate and/or plan creative, skating based special events.
  • Must be certified in first aid/CPR and have the ability to handle emergency situations.
Position Information
  • Wage Rate: $19.00
