Job summary

SOVRA is seeking a Public Sector RFP Specialist to join its proposal team. This newly created role drives response strategy, compliance, content development, stakeholder engagement, and submission execution for North American public-sector opportunities.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and services, manage timelines, write clear, compliant proposals, and build reusable content to win complex solicitations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years developing proposals for public-sector solicitations, preferably in tech or SaaS.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Leadership in high-value, strategic proposals partnering with executives and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFx review, analysis, and end-to-end response strategy.
• Develop compelling, customer-focused proposal content with win themes.
• Own the proposal schedule and ensure on-time submission.
• Coordinate cross-functional input across sales, product, services and other teams.
• Write and edit proposal content and build reusable material for future submissions.
