Job summary

Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is seeking a Finance professional for a 12-month fixed-term position. As a member of the Finance Team, you will deliver financial analysis, budgeting support, forecasting, and controllership services to ensure accountability and public reporting integrity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting practices
• Experience providing financial advice and training to clients
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings clearly
• Ability to monitor budgets, financial cycle, and in-year/year-end performance

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and advice to clients in support of their budgets and financial cycles
• Communicate agency policies to support management of financial resources
• Offer guidance on controllership policies, risk management, auditing, and reporting
• Monitor trends, performance, and risks to aid decision making
