Job summary

Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa in Ontario, Canada, is seeking a part-time Public Area Cleaner for the night shift (9:00pm–5:00am). You will clean and reset meeting spaces and guest areas, ensuring the luxury standards of the hotel are upheld.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance needs, assisting with event space readiness, and supporting team members to maintain a positive, inclusive work environment. Training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is an asset but training is provided.

About the Role

We are currently hiring for the position of part-time Public Area Cleaner - Night (9:00pm - 5:00am). In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Meeting & Event Space Readiness:

• Clean and reset meeting rooms and event spaces between uses.
• Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to the supervisor.
• Ensure furniture and fixtures are in clean, working condition.

2. Guest Service & Presentation:

• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor when in guest areas.
• Report lost and found items promptly following hotel protocol.
• Ensure public areas reflect the luxury and cleanliness standards of the hotel at all times.

3. Teamwork & Workplace Culture:

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.
• Support colleagues in other areas of housekeeping as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.

Pay & Schedule

• Wage: $21.50 per hour
• Schedule: 9:00pm - 5:00am, Weekends and Holidays required
• Start Date: ASAP
