Job summary

Heart of Niagara Hotels is seeking a Night Cleaner to help keep our hotel and Parkway Social venue looking its absolute best. You’ll work overnight, cleaning lobbies, hallways, washrooms, arcade, bowling area, and public spaces to guest-ready standards.

Working independently with strong attention to detail, you’ll maintain high cleanliness levels, report maintenance concerns, and support the team to ensure the property shines for the next day’s guests.

Qualifications

• Overnight availability and ability to work unsupervised.
• Experience in hotel, janitorial, or facilities cleaning is a plus.
• Strong eye for cleanliness and detail.

Responsibilities

• Transforming public spaces overnight so they are clean, fresh, and guest-ready each morning.
• Cleaning and maintaining hotel lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, public washrooms, entrances, event spaces, and entertainment areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Keeping high-touch areas disinfected and maintained to support guest safety.
• Replenishing washroom and public area supplies during your shift.
• Support Parkway Social by cleaning under seating areas, arcade games, and service counters.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards and assisting teammates as needed.

Heart of Niagara Hotels is looking for a Night Cleaner to help keep both our hotel and Parkway Social entertainment venue looking their absolute best. While most guests are sleeping, you’ll be hard at work ensuring that every lobby, hallway, restroom, arcade, bowling area, and public space is safe, and ready to impress the next day’s visitors. This is more than just a cleaning role. You’ll play an important part in creating memorable guest experiences by helping maintain the high standards our guests expect from our hotel and entertainment facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Transforming public spaces overnight so they are clean, fresh, and guest-ready each morning.
• Cleaning and maintaining hotel lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, public washrooms, entrances, event spaces, and entertainment areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and sanitizing a variety of surfaces.
• Keeping high-touch areas disinfected and maintained to support a safe environment for guests and team members.
• Replenishing washroom and public area supplies throughout your shift.
• Keeping Parkway Social looking great by cleaning under seating areas, arcade games, service counters, and other guest spaces.
• Sweeping and mopping bowling lane approaches and surrounding walkways.
• Vacuuming and spot cleaning carpeted lounge and arcade areas.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or areas requiring attention.
• Working independently while maintaining exceptional standards and attention to detail.
• Supporting fellow team members when needed to ensure the entire property shines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45lbs/20kg and push or pull cleaning equipment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and stooping.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain focus during overnight hours.
