Pantages Hotel Downtown Toronto is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms to high standards, under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. You will promote a positive image of the property and respond to guest requests with energy and professionalism.

The Room Attendant role involves routine cleaning, stocking supplies, and ensuring guest comfort in a fast-paced, vibrant setting within the city’s Theatre District. Join a team that values performance and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Move, lift, carry and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Able to push/pull a housekeeping cart on various surfaces.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning and make beds to hotel standards.
• Replenish guestroom and bath supplies.
• Deliver and retrieve items to guests (e.g., ironing boards).
• Perform rotation cleaning duties as required (e.g., carpet steam cleaning).
• Attend to guest calls and requests and contribute to guest satisfaction.

We’re looking for a HousekeepingRoom Attendant. The Room Attendant performs routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. The Room Attendant is expected to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and able to address guest requests and problems and who is ready to take center stage, lead with energy, and help us build something exceptional.

Your Role

The Room Attendant is an administrative and strategic powerhouse. You will oversee sales strategies that elevate our brand presence and activate the hotel for our target audience—from corporate high-flyers to weekend trendsetters—while managing proactive group and catering sales efforts.

The Room Attendant is primarily responsible for:

• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning;


• Makes the bed(s) according to hotel standards;


• Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies;


• Delivers and retrieves items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards;


• Performs rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required;


• Maintains work area and equipment according to hotel standards;


• Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him;


• Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction;

In addition to the core job responsibilities, the Room Attendant will illustrate the ability and passion to:

• Live the corporate culture, personifying it in daily interactions with both guests and team members


• Be an engaging team member who is highly inclusive, inspiring, and able to relate to all levels

What You Bring to the Table

• Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance;


• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces;


• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping;


• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift;


• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination;


• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
