Northern Health seeks a psychiatrist to join the Northwest Psychiatry Team in Prince Rupert, BC. You will work within a community mental health team, collaborating with family physicians to provide patient assessments, treatment planning, and education to physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

The Prince Rupert Regional Hospital offers a full range of services, with coastal living in Northwest BC and opportunities to serve Terrace, Smithers and surrounding communities.

This Is An Opportunity To Join The Northwest Psychiatry Team Providing Services To Prince Rupert, Terrace, Smithers And Surrounding Communities. Working In a Community Mental Health Team, The Psychiatrist, In Close Consultation With Family Physicians Will

Benefits and Incentives

• Vacation Leave 6-8 weeks annually including CME May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 24.50% Retention Flat Fee $37,968 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - 15,000 Recruitment Incentive $20,000 Other Benefits/Incentives Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available: Up to 2 years $1,800; In 3rd & 4th year $4,800; after 4 years $7,800. Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice.
