Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services invites applications for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse I in the Mental Health Acute Care Inpatient Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook.

The role is temporary full-time until January 31, 2027, with potential extension; compensation is in NS28, CAD39.39–CAD49.06 per hour, based on experience and seniority, with 75 hours biweekly (days/nights/weekends).

Demands, duties, qualifications: Qualifications: Positions will be awarded based on an experience/seniority ratio of 80% experience and 20% seniority per rotation. Candidates hired based on the experience ratio require a minimum of two years of Mental Health experience. A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and/or a Registered Nurse with current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Nurses is required. A post-basic diploma in Mental Health and/or a Psychiatric Mental Health CNA certification is an asset.
