Job summary

Carefor Health & Community Services in Ottawa seeks a Supervisor, Personal Support Services (PSS) to lead the delivery of client care and mentor PSW staff. The role requires an Ontario-licensed RPN and a background in community nursing or PS S.

The position supports ongoing staff development and liaises with funders to maintain service quality. The role includes after-hours on-call rotation and a focus on evidence-based practice to ensure high standards and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Practical Nurse licensed to practice in Ontario (RPN).
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with experience guiding PSW staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily delivery of Personal Support Services (PSS) and ensure high-quality client care.
• Lead and mentor PSS staff; conduct regular performance reviews and address issues.
• Coordinate with managers and service funders; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
