Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our national pharmacy team across provinces. The role focuses on patient-centered care, counselling, vaccine/injection services, medication reviews, and ensuring prescription safety.

You will collaborate with pharmacy technicians and assistants to deliver seamless health and wellness services. Required: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and licensure in good standing in the applicable province.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Work shifts across the province focusing on patient-centered care, empathy and compassion.
Provide patient counselling and education for new therapies to patients/caregivers, tailoring to literacy and privacy needs.
Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver health and wellness services to all patients.
Ensure prescription safety and oversee Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
Stay current with regulatory requirements and pharmacy practice trends; attend training as required.
