Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our national pharmacy team across banners in Canada.

The role focuses on patient-centered care, counseling, and collaboration to ensure safe, effective therapy and a seamless pharmacy experience for all patients. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, be licensed in good standing, and possess Injection and First Aid Certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.
• Injection and First Aid Certification.
• Kroll software experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion while prioritizing patient-centered care.
• Provide patient counseling and education for new therapies to patients and caregivers.
• Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide health and wellness services to all patients.
• Engage in all areas of Fusion to ensure seamless, consistent pharmacy experiences across locations.
• Ensure prescription safety by prioritizing technical functions and delegating tasks where appropriate.
• Understand and communicate corporate pharmacy service offerings and programs to meet patient needs.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry developments; attend trainings as required.
