Job summary

Pattison Food Group is hiring a Protective Services Guard for our Winnipeg locations. You will protect team members, customers, and assets by identifying theft, maintaining a safe environment, and documenting incidents with clear reports.

The role requires a valid MB Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement, reliable transportation, and excellent decision-making and communication skills. Travel between stores and a customer-first approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MB Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
• Travel between multiple store locations with reliable transportation.
• Strong decision-making and the ability to act quickly under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate integrity.
• AST (Advanced Security Training) is an asset; second language is an asset.
• Open availability is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
• Observing, meeting and greeting customers.
• Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor with the public, staff, and law enforcement.
• Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
• Performing arrests, asset recoveries, and product recoveries.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Documenting evidence and typing clear reports as required.
