Job summary

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) is seeking a Protection Support Worker on a casual basis in New Liskeard. You will provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families on behalf of the agency’s child protection services and approved placements.

The role requires a college diploma in human services, willingness to travel and flexible hours, and a valid G-class license with access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Requires a College Diploma in Human Services.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Travel as required.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Bilingualism English/French is an asset.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license and be willing to obtain a G Class license or have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities
