Job summary

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) is seeking a Casual Protection Support Worker to join the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team. The role focuses on delivering preventative and protective services for children and families involved with child protection services and approved placements.

The position requires a College Diploma in Human Services, at least three years of relevant experience, willingness to work flexible hours, travel as needed, and strong

• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license at the time of application and be willing to obtain a valid G Class driver’s license as a condition of employment or already possess a valid G Class driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle.

Casual Position

As a member of an Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, you will provide preventative and protective services to children and families. Services will be provided to and on behalf of children who are in the care of the Agency’s child protection services and approved placements.
