North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) is seeking a Protection Support Worker on a casual basis in New Liskeard. You will join the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team to provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families, including those in the care of child protection services.

Requirements include a College Diploma in Human Services, ability to travel, a valid G license (G2 minimum) or willingness to obtain, and the

PROTECTION SUPPORT WORKER

Casual Position in New Liskeard

As a member of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, the Protection Support Worker will provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families. Services will be provided to and on behalf of children who are in the care of the Agency’s child protection services and approved placements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS)

• A College Diploma in Human Services is required
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
• Must be willing to travel as required
• Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license at the time of application and be willing to obtain a valid G Class driver’s license as a condition of employment or already possess a valid G Class driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle.
