North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services in Timmins is seeking a Casual Protection Support Worker. You will support children and families within the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, delivering preventative and protective services in the community.

The role requires a College Diploma in Human Services with at least three years of relevant experience, willingness to work flexible hours and travel, and a valid G2 license or access to a vehicle; English/French bilingualism is

• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
• Must be able to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Must possess a G2 driver's license, or have access to a vehicle and be willing to obtain a G Class license.

• A College Diploma in Human Services with a minimum of three years relevant working experience in the human services field
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
• Must be willing to travel as required
• Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license at the time of application and be willing to obtain a valid G Class driver’s license as a condition of employment or already possess a valid G Class driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle.
