Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA in Edmonton is seeking a Server to take food and beverage orders and deliver items to guests, upholding safety and service standards.

You will greet guests, deliver meals, explain menu items, accommodate special requests, and coordinate with kitchen and other staff. Evening/weekend shifts required; Food Handler and ProServe certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food services industry.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• ProServe certificate.
• Evening and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and maintain sanitation; assist guests as needed.
• Explain menu items and dietary options; accommodate requests.
• Coordinate with back-of-house to ensure correct orders and special requests.
• Address complaints promptly and report to supervisor.
• Ensure dining area setup and cleanliness before/after service.
• Collaborate with other departments during events.
