Job summary

Entro in Toronto is seeking a Proposal Writer to support business development across its offices. You will translate client challenges into compelling proposals for experiential graphic design services, coordinating inputs from SMEs and pursuing opportunities across sectors.

The role requires strong communication, writing, and coordination skills, with experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office. A fast-paced team enviro nment and collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a sales, business development or marketing environment with proposal creation responsibility.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Keynote.
  • Excellent project coordination skills and understanding of key business processes.
  • Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, manage changing needs and priorities, and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritize work to achieve goals.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working within the AEC industry is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate proposal preparation and submission.
  • Read, summarize, and distribute Request for Pre-Qualification/Request for Proposal (RFPQ/RFP) information to the pursuit team.
  • Organize kick off meetings, review sessions, and final document distribution prior to submission.
  • Write, review and edit unique proposal material.
  • Set content deadlines with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Work with the Proposal Manager to strategize on proposal win themes and proposal content.
  • Coordinate and lead weekly proposal team meetings.
  • Work with external partners to obtain input and relevant information for proposal development.
  • Record and share lessons learned and best practices.
  • Communicate with clients and partners to coordinate proposal interviews.
  • Develop custom presentations and coordinate internal meetings for proposal interviews.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all RFP, RFPQ, Expressions of Interest (EOI), and other such communications.
  • Work with the Business Development Team to develop custom sales materials.

This individual will produce proposals to support business development in all of Entro’s offices. The ideal candidate has a rich understanding of the design process, an appreciation of how to sell design (specifically experiential graphic design services) and the ability to translate client challenges into compelling proposals to win new work.
