Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Proposal Specialist to support our RFQ/RFP processes and develop technically persuasive content for large-scale construction projects. You will translate complex technical details into compelling narratives and coordinate with subject matter experts to align with project objectives.

You will lead bid coordination, collaborate with graphic designers for polished documents, and ensure compliance with bid requirements while managing multiple proposals across timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing proposals in construction, engineering and/or architecture fields.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, establishing timelines and priorities.
• Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working with SharePoint and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all content is well harmonized, coherent and compliant with the bid requirements.
• Proactively maintain open lines of communication with subject matter experts and other bid team members.
• Work collaboratively with our graphic designers to create optimized and visually engaging documentation and collateral including templates and styles, cover pages, tabs, and organizational charts.

As a Proposal Specialist working in our operational support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play an integral role in the development of the technical portion of the RFQ/RFP process. Supporting our attainment of large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will utilize your expertise in translating complex technical details into persuasive narratives and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

This role could be for you if you have :

• Previous experience working on design-build proposals.
• Fluency in both official languages, written and oral (English and French).
