Intact is seeking a Unit Claims Manager, Property, to join our Mississauga office. You will lead a growing team, ensuring high-quality claims processing and adherence to standards, while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in business administration and at least 3 years as a Property Adjuster, with bonus experience in team management and knowledge of personal and commercial lines insurance. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Property Adjuster.
• Experience managing a team is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of personal and commercial lines insurance.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to corporate and regional objectives by measuring team performance and ensuring the quality of claims processing and compliance with standards.
• Manage the activities of the team by organizing, planning and controlling resources within budget while promoting teamwork and providing training.
• Participate in the improvement of operational processes.
• Make decisions for the team regarding claim processing and indemnities in accordance with company standards.
• Promote the brand image and business principles to partners.
• Conduct active file hearings throughout the year.
