Job description

Agilus is recruiting for a Contract Intermediate Property Analyst in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities :

• Full cycle of production accounting, including all aspects of production, revenue, and royalty reporting completed accurately and meeting all deadlines.
• Analysis of production, revenue, royalties, and reconciling items to the general ledger.
• Review new properties configuration and flow changes.
• Review and implement all changes impacting properties because of regulatory changes, measurement, allocations, and audits.
• Ability to review operating agreements and marketing contracts to ensure the accurate handling of allocations and equalizations.
• Actively participate, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide support in desk reviews and property audits.
• Assist operational teams with accounting and reporting. Help with annual EPAP testing for AB & SK LTCHO facilities.
• Review master file setup and changes to ensure compliance with governing regulations (EVAP, EPAP, and SOX).

Successful candidates will have :

• 8+ years of experience in full cycle production accounting. CAPPA Certificate would be preferred.
• Extensive experience with Alberta and Saskatchewan conventional heavy oil properties, fuel gas, proration facilities.
• Solid knowledge of allocations, measurement, audit, and processes.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) to liaise effectively with Finance, Operations, Emissions, and Engineering teams.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, changing environment that is deadline-driven.
• Well-organized with proven multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Experience using Production Accounting System (Metrix), Petrinex, Field Data Capture System (PVR), ERP System (SAP), Land System (CS Land), and Spotfire reports.
