What it’s like to be a Northbridge Property Risk Assessment Consultant

This is a remote opportunity allowing you to work from home. You will be supporting our Ontario and Atlantic Regions.

The Virtual Property Risk Assessment Consultant is responsible for conducting virtual Property and Liability risk assessments using Loss Control 360 and other virtual tools. The Remote Risk Solutions Consultant may also support the delivery and development of remote risk assessment tools like Desk Reviews and Self-Assessment programs.

If you are great at:

  1. Conducting risk assessments for business operations including property, casualty, product liability, contractor, and builder's risk - from small businesses to complex mid-market clients.
  2. Building and maintaining strong client and internal stakeholder relationships through virtual platforms.
  3. Implementing and recommending loss prevention strategies to enhance client safety.
  4. Assisting in the creation of loss management strategies and tools, such as self-assessment instruments.

If you have:

  1. Post-secondary education or equivalent industry-specific experience.
  2. A CRM designation (completed or in progress), or equivalent training/professional background. CIP courses or designation an asset.
  3. Some experience in the Property and Liability insurance industry is preferred, but we welcome recent graduates with relevant education.
  4. Strong communication, technical writing, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships and engage diverse stakeholders.
  5. Understanding of risk and insurance management principles, including knowledge of Canadian building/fire codes, NFPA standards, and the ability to interpret industry-recognized guidelines.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Power BI.
  7. Strong data analytics skills.
  8. Experience with Loss Control 360 is an asset.
