Job summary

CT REIT in Toronto, ON is seeking a Property Administrator to support day-to-day operations of retail and commercial properties. You will handle A/P and A/R, rent roll reviews, vendor management, and tenant communications under the Property Manager's guidance.

Candidates have college/accounting training with 3–5 years experience in commercial/retail property administration, and strong MS Office and Yardi skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of college in a related field or accounting with three to five years of commercial/retail property administration experience.
• Experience with Yardi Property Management Software.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial management (A/P & A/R).
• Strong customer service orientation; excellent planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and processing P.O.s and invoices; manage accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
• Review monthly rent roll for accuracy and liaise with property accountants on expense issues.
• Administer, review and monitor service contracts and vendor performance; manage arrears and participate in AR meetings.
• Prepare tenant billings, rental advisories and statements; issue notices for late payments or defaults.
• Coordinate with Leasing, Property Management and Accounting for CAM management and budget variances.
• Dispatch maintenance and security requests and oversee tenant communications.
