Job summary

PTW Energy Services Ltd is seeking a Small Projects Electrical Supervisor to oversee smaller electrical projects. You will scope work, coordinate field crews, and manage daily time and material tracking.

The role requires a Certified Journeyman Electrician with the ability to read drawings, perform estimates, and supervise electricians and apprentices. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaboration with customers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Electrician with valid safety certifications.
• Experience supervising electrical crews or small projects preferred.
• Minimum 5 years industrial project experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with job scoping, estimating, and material takeoffs.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
• Valid safety certifications: CSO, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, AWP, WHMIS 2015.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to scope and assess electrical work.
• Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, and customer requirements.
• Prepares small project estimates.
• Coordinate and supervise electricians and electrical apprentices on small projects.
• Plan daily work activities and ensure crews have information, materials, tools, and equipment required.
• Communicate with customers, general contractors, suppliers, and other trades as required.
• Monitor project progress.
• Complete and review daily time tickets, ensuring labour hours are accurately recorded.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable electrical codes, company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with management regarding project status, labour requirements, costs, and potential issues.

Job Details

• Hourly Rate: $48.00/hr
• Working Hours: 10 hours per day
• Modified Shift Rotation: could vary from 15/13, 14/14 or 14/7
