PTW Energy Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent for Nanaimo, BC. The role oversees industrial electrical construction, directs field teams, and ensures safe, high-quality project delivery in a dynamic industrial setting.

You will mentor foremen and crews, optimize field execution plans, and manage schedules, costs, and client relations to ensure on-time completion with strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• 10+ years of industrial electrical construction experience in contractor environments.
• Experience in a Superintendent or senior leadership role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems integration within industrial projects.
• Ability to read Instrumentation, Electrical, and P&ID drawings.
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S regulations.
• Strong leadership in safety, workforce management, cost control, scheduling, and project execution.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; project coordination software is an asset.
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, First Aid (CPR/AED), CSTS 2020; valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, and shift work.
• Comfortable working in heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule electrical field personnel to meet project objectives.
• Supervise electrical construction activities while ensuring compliance with project specs and safety standards.
• Assist in optimizing electrical and mechanical design drawings and field execution plans.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors and vendors on site.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, productivity, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review project progress reports, cost tracking, scheduling updates, and material usage documentation.
• Coordinate commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
• Promote and enforce PTW's safety culture and OH&S compliance standards.
• Mentor foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and field personnel.
• Perform additional duties as required to support project success.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
