Job summary

Victor Energy Ltd, a long‑standing Alberta powerline contractor, seeks a Project Scheduler to develop and administer schedules for projects and portfolios. You will coordinate with project teams, implement MS Project and P6 processes, and deliver schedules with weekly updates and analytics.

The role requires a diploma in Engineering or Business, 3+ years scheduling construction projects, and strong MS Office integration.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or diploma in Engineering, Business Management or related field is required.
• Experience in large project schedules ($150M+) would be considered an asset.
• Experience in utility or linear construction projects would be considered an asset.
• Microsoft Project Training and a minimum of three years of experience developing project schedules for a construction industry.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Project with links to other Microsoft Suite programs such as Planner, Teams, and SharePoint would be an asset.
• P6 Training and a minimum of two years experience developing P6 schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other database applications.
• Attention to details is essential, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Communicate with Project teams with weekly updates to their respective schedules.
• Train staff on Microsoft Project and P6 scheduling as required.

Victor Energy Ltd is a powerline contractor with over 20 years experience building Alberta's electrical infrastructure, recently acquired by Java Holdings Ltd. Victor Energy is seeking a Project Scheduler to be responsible for the implementation, development and administration of project schedules, for both project specific and portfolio project reporting.

Responsibilities
