Job Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator will support business growth by providing the sales team with effective tools and launching new products. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management and interpersonal skills, be comfortable with numbers, and bring creativity to an innovation-driven food company. Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines are essential in this dynamic environment.

Location:

This position is based at our Head Office at 15 Marmac Drive, Etobicoke, Ontario, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence 1-2 times per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the development of new products alongside cross-functional teams.
  2. Create and maintain product specifications.
  3. Develop and review marketing materials, label copy, and artwork.
  4. Support the creation of marketing collateral such as sell sheets, product photography, launch presentations, manuals, and packaging.
  5. Manage and analyze new product costing.
  6. Participate in product rationalization and categorization processes.
  7. Handle purchase order submissions, budget analysis, and record keeping.
  8. Generate and analyze sales and category reports.
  9. Update internal project status reports.
  10. Maintain US and Canadian ECC NET for designated customers.
  11. Manage product sample requests.
  12. Perform administrative duties as assigned.
  13. Coordinate project status updates between Sales and Product Development teams.
Recipe for Success:
  • Degree or diploma in Marketing or Business.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in Marketing or related fields (asset).
  • Experience in Project Management (asset).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with initiative to identify projects and solutions.
  • Knowledge of design, web, and social media (asset).
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Previous experience in food or bakery marketing (preferred).
