Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee crucial water and sanitation infrastructure projects around Kimberley in the Northern Cape. You will manage projects from conception through to completion, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to deliver sustainable infrastructure with long-term community benefits.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in project management in water or civil infrastructure, with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in Project Management with a focus on water, sanitation, or civil infrastructure.
• Experience managing public infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of water treatment, distribution, and wastewater systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; professional registration or PMP certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, design, and execution of water and sanitation infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, construction contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards, public health regulations, and quality specifications.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement timely solutions.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
