CIMA+ is seeking a Project Manager to join the Municipal and Transportation Design team in Ontario, based in Burlington or Mississauga. You will lead, plan, design and tender municipal and transportation infrastructure projects with a dynamic team.

Ideal applicants hold a Civil Engineering degree, P.Eng. and 8+ years of project delivery experience in Ontario, with proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads and strong communication skills. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.).
• Minimum 8 years in project delivery with transportation and municipal infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline designs and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects on local, collector or arterial roads for municipal clients.
• Design and contract preparation for urban/rural road projects and environmental assessments.
• Mentor staff and coordinate technical reviews of documents and design.
• Liaise with government/regulatory authorities through permit approvals.

We are seeking aProject Managerto join our growing Municipal and Transportation Design team in ourBurlington or Mississauga, ONoffices. Working closely with the Design Team, you will have the opportunity to use your technical and project management abilities to lead, plan, design and tender various municipal and transportation infrastructure projects in a dynamic team setting.

Our hybrid work model can accommodate flexible work hours; the position can be based out of our Burlington or Mississauga office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage transportation projects on local, collector or arterial roads for various municipal clients throughout Ontario, including schedules, budgets, cost control processes, quality control and work procedures
• Design and contract preparation for urban/rural road construction and reconstruction projects, including local and regional roads, environmental assessments, watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, etc.
• Supervision of the design of specific projects, including guidance of technical staff, client liaison, technical reviews of documents and design, preparation of project specifications, and resolving various engineering challenges
• Liaise with government and regulatory/environmental authorities to guide projects through permit approval processes
• Maintain existing business relationships and coordinate business development activities including identifying and pursuing potential marketing and new client opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Minimum8 years of experience in project deliveryincluding minimum 5 years in design experience with transportation and municipal infrastructure in Ontario
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.) and Member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
• Experience with coordinating multi-discipline designs and construction projects
• Ability to mentor staff to expand their technical knowledge
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Microstation/OpenRoads, Office 365 and MS Project would be an asset
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills in English
