Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Project Manager for Municipal Infrastructure to lead water and wastewater conveyance projects across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario. You’ll manage tasks, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and strengthen client relationships in a hybrid setup with two days per week in Mississauga, Toronto, or Bowmanville offices.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with senior engineers, and contribute to project delivery while advancing municipal infrastructure initiatives in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed with PEO or eligible for transfer.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, specifically linear conveyance systems.
• Demonstrated experience in design and/or construction services for municipal underground infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with trenchless technologies and/or rehabilitation methods considered an asset.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks and priorities in a team-based environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with engineering design software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
• Prepare and review engineering studies, Environmental Assessment support documents, technical reports, plans, calculations, and contract documents.
• Develop cost estimates, technical specifications, and tender packages.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary project teams.
• Communicate and liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in proposal development, including technical content and project approach.
• Participate in project planning and resource coordination to support schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and designers.
• Support other CIMA+ offices across Canada on large-scale water and wastewater initiatives.

We have an exciting opportunity for aProject Manager, Municipal Infrastructureto support and lead the delivery of water and wastewater conveyance projects across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario.
