This pivotal role involves leading and empowering Project Managers, ensuring project performance aligns with organizational objectives, and acting as the primary escalation point for critical issues. You will also serve as a key advisor to the Executive Director, delivering high-level insights on project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all project phases to safeguard delivery outcomes and stakeholder confidence.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce standardized project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to drive consistency and quality across the portfolio.
  • Financial Management: Lead project budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking. Define and monitor both leading KPIs (risk indicators) and lagging KPIs (performance metrics) to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management System Implementation: Spearhead the deployment and optimization of a centralized project management system to enhance visibility, coordination, and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

A deep knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices is essential. PMP certification or an equivalent credential is preferred. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills are critical for effective budget oversight and performance evaluation across multifaceted initiatives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, a collaborative mindset, and an ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
