This position can be hired remotely anywhere within Canada.

The Project Manager leads and directs multiple projects under the guidance of Project Management Office (PMO) leadership. They drive projects from inception to completion, identify and document project requirements, support clients on information security initiatives, keep stakeholders informed of project and budget status, and manage issues to resolution. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the project life cycle (initiation, planning, execution, control, close), focusing on risk management, forecasting challenges, and devising strategies to overcome them. The Project Manager ensures projects progress as planned through oversight and control of activities and timelines.

How you'll make an impact

  • Accountable for the execution and delivery of customer-focused security solution projects, ensuring progress and avoiding delays.
  • Drive project progress across multiple stakeholders, maintaining timeliness and resource utilization, with a minimum of 40 hours billed per week per resource.
  • Develop strategic delivery plans, schedules, project controls, cost forecasts, risk management plans, issue resolution strategies, resource analysis, and reporting.
  • Create and maintain schedules with key deliverables, milestones, and dependencies; monitor progress and identify potential delays or risks early; drive resolution efforts.
  • Coordinate and facilitate planning and status meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, creating appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Ensure quality and consistency through sound application of methodologies, standards, and templates.
  • Monitor project budgets, burn rates, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Report to Program Managers on cross-capability projects, collaborating with peers to track dependencies and risks.
  • Consolidate and report project performance metrics and statuses to stakeholders and the PMO.
  • Manage projects across various teams, communicating risks and impacts.
  • Establish communication plans for team coordination and status updates.
  • Implement project controls to ensure timely, within-budget delivery that meets quality standards and customer expectations, maintaining 40 hours billed per resource weekly.
  • Maintain commitment to milestones and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Foster strong relationships through regular communication with sales, customers, and delivery teams.
  • Maintain relationships with subject matter experts and organizational personnel.

What we're looking for

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience in customer-facing project/program delivery leadership within a professional services organization.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Proven success managing multiple clients and initiatives over the long term.
  • Experience managing information security projects is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • Experience working with both clients and partners.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented, high energy, self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Previous experience in security services is a plus.
  • Experience as a security consulting professional is preferred.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
