Job summary

ACCREDITATION CANADA is seeking a Project Manager for the Next Generation Accreditation Program (NGAP) to drive design, development and implementation across cross-functional teams in Canada. Salary: $98,000 - $115,300 (Commensurate with experience)

This salary range reflects the expected starting salary based on qualifications and experience. This is not the full salary range for the position. Opportunities for growth within the full salary range are available in alignment with organizational policies and individual / organizational performance. About The Role:

The Project Manager, Next Generation Accreditation Program (NGAP), will play a key role in supporting one of the most significant transformation initiatives underway at HSO and Accreditation Canada.

Reporting to the Regional Director, Québec and Canadian Francophonie, who also leads the development of the Next Generation Accreditation Program, the Project Manager will provide project management leadership to support the design, development and implementation of a next-generation accreditation model.

Working across executive leadership, operational teams, subject matter experts, digital teams, and external stakeholders, the Project Manager will act as a key coordinator and trusted partner to the NGAP leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment across multiple project workstreams, maintaining effective governance and reporting structures, managing dependencies and risks, and helping translate strategic priorities into coordinated action plans and tangible results.

This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive project management professional who thrives in complex environments, enjoys bringing people together around a common objective, and has a proven ability to maintain momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of the Next Generation Accreditation Program's projects and associated workstreams.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and reporting mechanisms to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.
• Coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration among program design, digital enablement, operations, communications, training, and implementation initiatives.
• Support governance structures, including steering committees, leadership forums, project status reviews, and executive reporting processes.
• Track project progress and performance, identifying issues, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, and facilitating timely mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities to support collaboration, accountability, and decision-making.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, prioritization activities, and project administration to maintain momentum and achieve key milestones.
• Ensure project documentation, decisions, action items, and reporting are maintained and communicated effectively.
• Support implementation planning and organizational readiness activities to facilitate successful deployment of program deliverables.
• Promote project management best practices and continuous improvement across the program.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, Healthcare, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 7+ years of progressively senior project or program management experience, including leadership of large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments that include operational, digital, product, and client-facing teams.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects, stakeholders, and priorities within complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, governance, risk management, project controls, and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Proven experience establishing reporting frameworks, developing project performance indicators and dashboards, preparing executive reporting material and coordinating governance processes for senior leadership.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive execution while managing competing priorities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in project management.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, Prosci, or other recognized project or change management certifications.
• Experience within healthcare, accreditation, standards development, quality improvement, not-for-profit, or public-sector environments.
• Professional proficiency in both French and English is considered a strong asset to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Canada.
