Responsibilities

• Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare and present regular project update reports for internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Provide insight and commentary on financial performance, identifying key cost drivers and financial risks.
• Support change order reviews and ensure appropriate financial governance is applied.
• Provide input to financial risk registers, including contingency tracking and drawdown.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies and capital governance frameworks.
• Support audits and reviews by providing documentation and rationale for financial decisions.
• Maintain compliance with funding requirements, regulatory standards and stakeholder reporting obligations.
• Ensure data integrity and maintain accurate records.
• Identify project risks, and develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
• Establish and maintains effective client relationships.
• Solve issues and provide support, manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting to a Project Manager of a major, multi-year project, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, delivering and reporting on assigned project scope based on schedule and budget. The position works within a larger project management team and is responsible for specific scope while integrating with all other disciplines of project management. The scope of work this position will focus on is demolition, interior fit up, landscape, and Civil. Experience in these areas is an asset. The position will also require the development of client communication notices in both French and English.
