Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and fire alarm systems.

Job Overview

Our valued member is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager - Electrical to support their team in managing electrical projects. This hands-on role offers growth opportunities in electrical project management, with the chance to contribute to multi-million-dollar projects across Ontario. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing work plans and project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including site files, submittals, drawings, and purchase orders
  • Review schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor project progress, provide regular updates to the Project Manager, and address any potential issues
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding project changes and issues
  • Ensure compliance with ESA regulations and manage permit applications
  • Attend project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items and deficiencies
  • Contribute to process improvements and cost efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Travel to project sites for meetings as required

Experience

  • Previews experience as a 309A Electrical Journeyperson, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of project coordination experience, ideally with an ICI contractor or subcontractor
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and fire alarm systems, ESA regulations, and the Ontario Electrical Code
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and schematics
  • Experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); experience with scheduling tools is an asset
  • Strong time management, organization, and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, vendors, clients, and consultants
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License and reliable vehicle

This role offers 3-4 days of fully remote work each week, with potentially 1-2 days required on-site for meetings or project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
